We have a new product that we’re testing.

It is something called a Membership.  The working title is “Archive Access” Membership.

It will be available as a yearly, and perhaps also a quarterly subscription.  The price is yet to be determined.

It will be available sometime at the end of 2026 or the beginning of 2027.

How it will work

An Archive Access Membership will give you online access to every back issue of the Mineralogical Record, as well as all future issues and their accompanying supplements.  You will be able to view them just as you would read the printed magazine. You can enjoy them on your desktop, laptop or mobile device from anywhere with an internet connection.

All issues are provided as online, read-only PDF Flipbooks. You must be logged into your account to access them. The Flipbooks cannot be downloaded, printed, or saved to your device.

As soon as you purchase your Archive Access Membership Subscription, the complete archive of back issues becomes immediately available through your website account. These Flipbooks are available exclusively to active Archive Access Members and cannot be accessed elsewhere on the website.

Your membership includes access to:

• All back issues of the Mineralogical Record
• All future issues
• All accompanying supplements

Each new issue and supplement will be added to the archive as it is published.

This membership is designed for dedicated Mineralogical Record readers, mineral collectors, educators, dealers, researchers, and anyone with a serious interest in mineralogy.

The Membership will have powerful search capabilities. You will be able to search for topics, articles, authors and issues across the archive, similar to our current SEARCH THIS SITE feature, and each individual Flipbook is also fully searchable.

Like our current digital editions, the Flipbooks allow you to enlarge both text and photographs for easier viewing. In addition, selected photographs in the What’s New sections include embedded video links.

Please note that Archive Access Flipbooks are provided through a SUBSCRIPTION TO the Archive Access Membership and Flipbooks are not owned by the subscriber. They cannot be downloaded or stored on your computer. If you would like downloadable PDF editions, you may purchase individual digital PDFs or a Digital Subscription.
