Advantages of Creating a Website Account

There are several advantages to creating an online Website Account. Your account allows you to:

• Access information about your subscriptions and orders
• Change your mailing address
• Add or change a stored payment method
• Access your digital downloads
• Change your password
• Sign up for Automatic Renewal
• Access your Archive Access Membership

Your Website Account Is Separate from Your Subscription

Having a subscription does not necessarily mean that you already have a Website Account.

Unless you have created a Website Account, you will not be able to view your current subscription status online, and your past subscription history will not be available through the website.

Your subscription history will be recorded and available online going forward once you create a Website Account or sign up for Automatic Renewal.

When you select Automatic Renewal and proceed with your purchase, a Website Account will automatically be created for you. If you already have a Website Account, you will be prompted to log in during checkout if you have not already done so.

Digital Subscriptions

A Website Account is also automatically created when you purchase a Digital Subscription.

Your PDF download links will appear immediately after your purchase, so you can download your issues right away—or download them later at your convenience.

To access your digital issues later, simply log in to your account. You will find them under “My Digital Downloads” on the left-hand side of your account page.

How to Create a Website Account

If you have not signed up for a subscription with Automatic Renewal and would like to create a Website Account—or if you need an account in order to access the  One-Month Archive Access Membership—the easiest way is to create one during checkout.

After adding your item to your Cart, click “Proceed with Purchase.” You will then arrive at the screen where you enter your personal information.

Just below the Billing Address section, you will see a box labeled “Create an account?” Simply check that box. Your Website Account will be created automatically when your order is completed.

Need Help?

We are always happy to assist if you need help setting up or accessing your account. We can send you a password-reset link, change your mailing address, or turn off Automatic Renewal for you.

We do not have access to your password or, except for the last four digits and the expiration date of your credit card, your payment information.

Paying with PayPal

We do not have access to your PayPal account.  Also, PayPal has some different rules regarding Automatic Renewal and recurring subscription accounts.

Subscription Price Changes and Opting Out

If you ever change your mind about Automatic Renewal, you can opt out at any time. Simply log in to your account, go to your subscription, and turn off the Automatic Renewal button.

You will still receive a reminder when it is time to renew your subscription.

If you are enrolled in Automatic Renewal and there is a subscription price increase, you will be notified approximately 30 days before your payment is processed. Multiple reminders will be sent, with the final reminder arriving up to 3 days before your renewal is due.

If you do not wish to renew at the new price, log in to your account, select “Subscriptions” on the left side of your Dashboard, click “View,” and turn off the Automatic Renewal button.

Don’t Want a Website Account?

That’s perfectly OK.

When renewing or signing up for a subscription, simply select the “One-Time Purchase” option. We will send your renewal notices by email and USPS rather than through the website.
