How to create a Website Account

Advantages to having an on-line website account include: checking your subscription status, having access to orders, being able to change your address, the ability to add or change a stored payment method, accessing digital downloads, changing your password, and accessing memberships.

Important! Having or creating an on-line website account is not the same as already having a subscription [account- subscriber number]. You will not be able to view your current subscription status, nor is any past subscription history viewable.  You will be able to create viewable subscription and purchase history going forward only by creating a website account.

The easiest way to create an account is via the checkout screen when you make a purchase.

Just click inside the little box where it says “Create an Account?”

Accounts will automatically be created if you order any subscription or renewal labeled “Automatic Renewal” or a Digital Subscription.  Download links for PDFs show up immediately for download, or if your prefer, you can download them later.  Log in to your account and you will find these products available for download under “My Digital Downloads” on the left-hand side of your account page dashboard.

If you purchase digital issues, logging into your account at purchase will place your digital issues under the “My Digital Downloads” on your account dashboard.

If you’re interested in the “1 month only Subscription” to our Archive Access Membership, you must already have an account and be logged in or click in the “Create an Account” box at checkout.  Without an account, you will not be able to access the Flip-books.  Archive Access Membership subscriptions with automatic renewal (i.e.- quarterly and yearly accounts) will automaticaly create an account or prompt you to be logged into a website account upon purchase.

Because of the nature of some personal data (i.e. passwords and credit card information), we cannot create an account for you. For more information on how we manage your personal data, please see our privacy policy at: https://mineralogicalrecord.com/privacy-policy-2/

However, we can assist you if you need help setting up or accessing your account (i.e. send you a password reset, change your address, or shut off your automatic renewal.) We DO NOT have any access to your password or any credit card information except for the expiration date and last four digits of your number.

We cannot assist in setting up accounts if you wish to use PayPal.  That has to be done from the purchaser’s/subscriber’s end of the system.

Subscription Price Changes and “Opting Out”

If you ever change your mind about Automatic Renewal, you can “opt-out” anytime by simply logging in to your account and “turning off” the Automatic Renewal button- you will still get a reminder when it’s time to renew!

If you’re signed up for Automatic Renewal and there is a subscription price increase, you will be informed of this increase

approximately 30 days before your payment is processed.  Multiple reminders will be sent up to 3 days before your renewal is due.

If you do not want to renew at the new price, you can log into your account, go to “Subscriptions” on the left side of your dashboard

click “View” and turn off your Automatic Renewal button.  You will then receive your renewal reminders via email and/or USPS mail.
