Minerals are far more than just stones, they are nature’s masterpieces, formed over millions of years under extreme conditions.  When we gaze upon them, we cannot help but marvel at their intricate forms, colors, and structures. They tell stories of the Earth’s formation, of heat, pressure, and the elemental forces that shaped them.

It was therefore a particular passion of mine to focus this book on the “impossible crystal”, minerals so rare and extraordinary that they defy our understanding.
