Rare. A catalog of the minerals in the Royal collection at Vienna, fully annotated with references to the leading mineralogists of the day. It is divided into the following classes: metals, combustible minerals, salts, earths, and stones. There is also a description of the collection's volcanic products and fossils. The first pages, which act as an introduction, provide a short history of the collection. This is apparently the first published account of the mineral collection of this remarkable institution.
