BREYNE, Johann Philipp.

(1680 – 1764)

(Born: Danzig, Germany (now Gedansk, Poland), 1680; Died: Danzig, Germany (now Gedansk, Poland), 1764) German/Polish physician & botanist.

Breyne had a successful medical practice in his native city of Danzig. He was a Fellow of the Royal Society of London.
