(Born: Oetisheim, Württemburg, Germany, 20 February 1858; Died: Jena, Germany?, 1947) German crystallographer.

From 1879 to 1883, Linck studied in Stuttgart, Strasbourg, and Tübingen. In 1883, he received his Ph.D. from the University of Strasbourg. In Strasbourg, he became assistant for mineralogy (1885-94), professor extraordinary (1894) and from 1894, professor ordinary in mineralogy and geology at the University of Jena.
