(1857 – 1930)

(Born: Helgastaðir, Eyjafjarðarsýsla, Iceland, 2 February 1857; Died: 24 May 1930) Icelandic poet & naturalist.

Jónsson was educated in Iceland and worked as an instructor in Akureyri.
