Rare. This is the first published catalog of the library of the Geological Society of London. It is a classified listing journals, geological books, miscellaneous subjects, and maps. It was updated over the course of 35 years by the publication of supplemental volumes, until a new comprehensive catalogue was printed in 1881 [which see below].
