The | Exchangers' Monthly | Devoted to | Mineralogy, Geology, and Archæology. | ... | Published by Thos. Chamberlain, Jr., Jersey City, N.J., 1885-1890.
Vol. 1, no. 1 (November 1885)-vol. 5, no. 10 (October 1890).
Very rare. Despite the title's broader scope, most of the articles of this periodical were mineralogical in content, reflecting the editor Arthur Chamberlain's own collecting preferences. The first number of The Exchangers' Monthly appeared in November, 1885, the subscription price being twenty-five cents per year. It was a modest little publication, trim in appearance that lasted for five years. The name of the magazine was then changed in November, 1890, to The Mineralogists' Monthly [which see], and the price advanced to fifty cents per year.
