Very rare. Compiled by W.F. Jackson. This is an 1888 catalog of the ores and mineral specimens recovered in California and proudly shown off in the State Mineral Cabinet located at the E.B. Crocker Art Gallery in the state capital of Sacramento. The list of a few thousand ores includes specimens containing platinum, gold, silver, mercury, copper, etc., with essentially no information other than the collection number and the locality. A hand written note on the front end page of the copy examined states "that the mineral collection has been moved to the Sacramento Junior College to be recatalogued and placed in the museum in the library building, which is being constructed." Signed by Bob Lanning and dated February 21, 1936.
