Rare. A remarkable work giving a comprehensive look at the known meteorite falls, their mineralogy, the chemical composition of specimens, the major meteorite collections with a listing of the falls represented, and methods used in cataloging the collections. To help determine a falls monetary worth, Buchner listed not only the meteorites localities held in various public and private collections, but also the weight of each of the 263 falls represented.
