Very scarce. This is a comprehensive treatment of mineralogy, directed towards collectors of minerals. Part 1 covers the morphology of crystals and the physical and chemical properties of minerals. A section at the end concerns the philosophy and purpose of collecting minerals. Part 2 is a comprehensive descriptive mineralogy with standard information augmented from the vantage point of a collector's interest. The second part concludes with a list of references and indexes to the minerals described and localities cited. The text is illustrated throughout by over three hundred illustrations prepared by the author for this work.
