BAIER, Johann Wilhelm.

(1675 – 1729)

(Born: Jena, Germany, 12 June 1675; Died: Altdorf near Nuremberg in Franconia, (modern-day Bavaria) Germany, 11 May 1729) German physicist & mathematician.

Baier was professor of physics and mathematics at Altdorf University, later becoming professor of Lutheran theology at the same institution.
