Luigi Bardelli
(1869-1905)

Luigi Bardelli was born in Milan, Italy in 1869. He became a chemist at the Superior Technical Institute of Milan, and was well known for an interesting paper, published in 1895, about some discoveries dealing with lead ore from the Coiromonte mines (Ameno Municipality, Novara Province). Three years after Luigi Bardelli's death in 1905 (at Ameno), his widow Ida married Giuseppe Garbari, and the Bardelli collection was incorporated into the Garbari collection.<
