L. Carabœuf
(ca. 1840?-ca. 1885?)

In 1865 Louis Saemann's mineral business in Paris was purchased by his former mentor, Dr. Adam Krantz, who took all of Saemann's stock to Bonn. Saemann's pupil and collaborator, L. Carabœuf, opened a new comptoir géologique et minéralogique [in Paris], at 32 or 62 boulevard St. Germain. In 1867 he was nominated for membership in the Linnaean Society of Normandy, and in 1869 for the Geological Society of France. By 1885 he had sold his business to Dr. Emmanuel Dagincourt
