Eugene E. Sensel

Eugene Edward Sensel was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 14, 1911, the son of Ethel and Edward H. Sensel, a chemist for the Texas Company. He married Florence J. Ridel in Cleveland in 1935, and they moved to Beacon, New York, three years later, where Eugene was employed by Texaco after earning his PhD in chemistry from Case Western Reserve University in 1938. He later served as a high school teacher and school administrator. He retired in 1970 and died in Beacon, New York, on March 31, 2000.
