John E. Kitson

John Edward "Jack" Kitson, Jr., a "master barber," was born in Leicester, England on August 19, 1891, son of John E. Kitson, Sr., and came to the U.S. in 1912. He was naturalized in 1920, and married Vera A. Laurence (children: John Edward Kitson, III., born August 24, 1914 in Greenfield, Massachusetts; also Ura, Mildred, Ruth, and George). The family lived at 30 Briggs Street in Easthampton. It is presumably John Jr. to whom the card at right belonged. John E. Kitson, Jr. died September 26, 1977 in Northampton. John III died February 9, 2000, in Miami, Florida.
