Fred W. Dowden
Frederick William Dowden was born in Montreal, Canada on January 7, 1898, the son of Edward J. Dowden. He married a woman named Aurelia, and emigrated to the US in 1914, settling in Glens Falls, New York, where he worked first as a cook and later as an electrician in a power plant. They had a daughter named Geraldine (b 1918/9). He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Glens Falls and served as secretary to that organization in 1948. He died in November 1966 in Zephyr Hills, Florida.
