Aubert was a physician and doctor of philosophy. He wrote several works on medicine and one or two against Paracelsus and his followers.

Rare. The causes and reasons for the formation of metals in the earth are breifly explained. A critisim of this work was published by Josephus Duchesne in 1575, which was translated into English and published in 1591.
