Roberto Allori
(1933-    )

Robert Allori is a well-known amateur mineralogist and mineral collector in Rome, Italy. He has carried out extensive and detailed field mineralogical investigations of volcanoes in the Latium region. The new mineral species alloriite (which he discovered) was named in his honor by Chukanov et al. in 2007. He has been a subscriber to the Mineralogical Record since 1982.
